How about that then, snow then wet then dry then snow again

What about Alwyn and the win in the finals. Its not often that someone comes back after such a long lay off to be so competitive. Well done Alwyn

The buggies were fun, especially the first final at 25 laps Apologies to those who couldn't hack it...........no stamina these youngsters I should have set it at 40 laps, might have won then! But it just goes to prove that modern day cells/lipos are up to the job.

Next meeting at Ipswich is the Off road championship round 3, looking forward to that one as we will be running down the hill for the finish then into that awesome left hander. Who else will be up for it?

Those buggies were damned quick on the downhill inner straight.
The skill was how far down to apply the brakes to try and get round the subsequent hairpin.
Proved highly entertaining all day!

Tell me about it Ian    Trying to stop a B4 in a straight line on the wet grass was a hoot

I struggled to get the power down on the uphill but it was tremendous fun and in that last race where a certain 'herbert' just got me on the very last corner was a scream

But the most impressive driving came from Team Hearne with Tim putting in one of the quickest laps (don't know where he cut the track   ) and Linda who stormed the hill with a determination that had me backing off!. It was a shame that Julian suffered electrical problems because he was giving George a good run.

Can't wait for the next meeting now when hopefully I will have some new rubber and Barry will be back to defend his lead in the championship.

Yep, suffering from a cold last meeting, so didn't fancy running both cars, but will be back to try and keep the lead in the championship.
Since moving to the hill it is certainly better racing and more fun
