Monza layout

Just my own selfish thoughts about the Monza layout that we raced today:-

A bit processional with the long straights and just a couple of twiddly bits - hardly any overtaking (just like F1 !!),
Dangerous for marshalling as cars are travelling very quickly along the outside of the track making it difficult, especially when 10 cars will be on track at the STCC, to get to the middle,
Makes for some high-speed collisions and accidents when a car is stranded anywhere as cars are coming onto them very quickly,
Lap times are likely to be in the 11 second bracket, which is too low for a big prestigious meeting,
No home advantage!!
So if the powers-that-be agree, can we consider going back to our favourite Orwell layout please for the STCC.

Or am I getting too old for this fast layout?
El Capitano

You only didnt like it cause I beat you!!!

I do agree, that it would be a bit dangerous for the marshalls.  Especialy for the mod boys...

But

I think that if a mix of POWER and twisty bits can be found then that would be a good compromise.
CuttingEdge

Did I read it correctly the Grey Fox beaten by the Captain ????????

If its true I bet the Grey Fox said he would go home and rebuild the Tam before its next outing

Ha ha, I've just finished re-building it ready for Colchester!!

Seriously, the best compromise layout for speed and twisty bits (and safer) is the Orwell that we are all familiar with.
