Yes, we have the rollers, brushes & paint!
Hopefully the weather will be as the forecast so we can get on with painting the kerbs, rostrum & buildings and weeding etc.

'Thank you' to those few (you know who you are so no need to put names on here) who came along yesterday to support the club with all the maintenance that was needed to be completed - in particular to those who painted the outside the whole of the pitting area with two coats of paint, re-painted the results board, pull up endless bags full of weeds, re-varnished & cleaned windows, re-painted and white-lined the whole of the track, set out the buggy track for today's racing and generally tidied up all round.
If you weren't there you seriously need to ask why not - this is the club that provides you with the best racing facilities in Suffolk and it needs your support and involvement to continue to do so. This is not a one-way relationship as it requires input from both sides.
Next time that there is a call for help on a maintenance day please ensure that you commit to giving at least one hour of your time so that we can all continue to enjoy these magnificent facilities.

Well said Ian.
I don't think people always appreciate the time and effort it takes to maintain the club facilities.
I know everyone lead busy lives, but a bit more help on maintenance days would be great, as those who do help give up their time for free ensure the club is available for the meetings.
