Firstly, I would like to thank you for all those who took part in the Worn Rubber Series.  A huge thank you to Coastal who hosted the WRS, the food they provided , their help and patience for what was a somewhat complicated format

A big thank you to George for the help in it's creation and a massive thank you for making the unique trophies.  They were superb, so much so, I wish I had put more effort in to trying to win one. Having said that, I think all the time in the world and better preparation would still have left me short of some excellent skills from the top 6!!!

Now for some well dones.

Joy, an excellent performance.  A debut championship for Joy, with a debut race in 18 foot of snow and awful wintry conditions in the first two rounds.  A mid table finish for a noob !!! Brilliant.

Dan Newman - Well done fella, some excellent driving - amazing what you can do when you get out of bed and make it to a meeting.  Especially good, as when considered, Dan hasn't raced since the Pairs champs and came back to compete against some well practiced "buggy on tarmac" drivers!  Excellent B Final win - Well done!

Well done to John and George, their battles throughout the competition were excellent entertainment and provided some cracking spectacles.

Congratulations

Justin Hayes - 3rd place in the WRS Championship, achieved with an amazing drive today, culminating in a massive maximum 135point score.  About as likely as a 9 dart finish and required the same level of accuracy!!!

George Fairweather, another 2WD, and this one taking 2nd Place in the champ's with an all round great performance in every round. Well done fella!

And last but not least - John Myall.  A comprehensive Championship win, sown up in round 3 and a meeting spare, thus allowing the pedal off the gas for the final round with the emergence of the "Hotshot".  A car with the behavioural consistency of a rabid dog and did well to hang in there with it as long as he did.  John later switched backed to the trusty Yok and smashed the FTD by over 20 seconds.

So in brief here it is

John Myall - 1ST PLACE
George Fairweather - 2nd Place
Justin Hayes - 3rd place
