The Mini championship got underway today but do not fear if you were not here  because there will be a round of the championship at every points meeting . So with 14 more meeting to go this year and eight to count then you all have a chance to score points and win .

Julian won the first meeting and watch out for Linda. The turquoise one has some speed

1:- 540 silver can motors only
2:- only D60 slick or treaded tyres mounted on mini wheels can be used
3:- touring car size wet weather tyre's can only be used went wet/damp
4:- tamiya speed controller only (ebay from £4 used to £11.99 new)
5:- max 3000 battery can be used
6:- may add min weight limit 1400g ? or poss lower?

Although I don't race in the Mini class I must admit that Plato has a good point about the rules.
We seem to have gotten away from the original concept with all the little 'mods' that are starting to appear on cars. So to keep things as even as possible stick to what basically comes with the kit and then the only thing to agree is a weight limit.

Are the rules confirmed re tech specs of the cars?

Surely all chassis mods should be allowed as they are cheap and easy to do? As long as they are OEM parts from established R/C tuners?

I vote to stick with Weight limit, Motor limit and battery shape and size limits?
Oh and tyres too

Servo and speed controllers unlimited?

Sorry to be so vague ive not had the pleasure of visiting your track yet and seeing some of the action
