Thanks to all involved to make a cracking meeting. It was great to see a good crowd of people at a club meeting.
I personally had some great fun on the off road track with both the buggy and the truck. Well done to colesie who drove like an absolute trooper all day, brewer drove very well after a short break, must have been the build and setup and well done to the lad with the truck (sorry i dont know your name) Going very well for your first meeting, it was only down the straights that we could overtake.
Thanks for all the help putting the track away. Many hands make light work.
There are lots of photos of the meeting that are currently being uploaded. I will post a link up when they are done.
Thanks
George

Brilliant meeting. Bashed the trucks round, then destroyed my yok between the first leg of the Final and Second.
Here's some toe out I don't suggest. And just above it, the plastic box that provided the automatic toe setting.

Nice to see the aerodynamics were working a treat, providing all that downforce for extra traction http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2879533130104797026PwTRZE
Now bear with me on this...........
Many moons ago on Project Gotham Racing on the original Xbox, there would be a game played. I can't remember by which it was called but here goes. Out of 10 players, 2 teams (let's call them red and blue) of 5 per team. On each team you would get 1 mini driver each and the rest in whatever vehicle they chose. Object was for one mini to beat the other. The object for the rest of your team was to stop the other mini from winning whilst at the same time protecting yours from getting a pounding. It was brilliant.
What I would do to play that game with SC10's (13.5's) and minis (Stock) on the tarmac at Coastal.
Anyway, many thanks to all at Coastal for a cracking day of fun.
See you at Final round of the SEN. |
